Sex Education

BE IT RESOLVED that the Whatcom County Democrats (WCDCC) urge the Washington State legislature and school boards in Whatcom County to adopt sex education curriculum that is age appropriate, medically accurate, and includes all legal birth control methods to address sexually transmitted disease and to result in less teenage childbirth and STDs; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that school counselors be allowed to discuss these matters with students.
