As Democrats and as citizens of the United States of America, we support the rights guaranteed by our Constitution: personal freedoms, social and civil justice, privacy, security, and economic opportunity. Affirming that power and change ultimately rests with the people, we adopt this Platform to ensure that voters and candidates for public office understand and support our goals.
