The success of your Party is shown by increasing electoral wins in local, state and federal elections. However, those successes require vigorous ongoing efforts to identify like-minded voters, to inform them about the candidates and issues, and persuade them to actually vote. This work never stops. While it is most intense as an election day approaches, the more important work of identifying like-minded voters actually occurs during election cycle lulls. Year-round voter outreach, volunteer recruitment and training, and communications network development allow your Whatcom Democrats to provide candidates with the tools they need to run successful campaigns. Your generous contributions of both time and money throughout the year make this happen.

The Whatcom Democrats, the official Democratic Party organization for Whatcom County, is governed by the Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) who are elected by Democratic voters in each of their precincts. In turn, the PCOs adopt bylaws and elect officers who manage the activities of the party. The Officers and appointed committee chairs make up the Executive Board. The PCOs and Executive Board are joined by over 1400 dues-paying members who contribute money and volunteer time to get Democrats elected, as well as participate in candidate endorsement decisions.
