ALL Democrats Invited to Grassroots Strategy Sessions March 6th

Grab your thinking caps, fellow Democrats, because it is time for our Grassroots Strategy Sessions. On March 6th, each precinct will meet and discuss the various parts of the Whatcom Democrats platform and how it can best represent our values. We hold these caucus-like events on off-years to evaluate our party platform, strategize with fellow democrats, and as always, get to know our neighbors better.

Democratic County Convention & LD Caucus

The Whatcom County Democratic Party will hold its bi-annual convention on April 10, 2010, at a location to be announced. Democrats in the 42nd Legislative District, and the Whatcom County precincts of the 40th Legislative District, will also be caucusing on April 10th, in conjunction with the County Convention.

The main business of the 2010 County Convention will be the adoption of a Whatcom County Democratic Party Platform, which will define the values of the democrats in Whatcom County and guide  the party leadership in policy positions for the next two years.
