The Election Party is from 7:00 to 10:00. Whatcom Democrats are providing a delicious antipasto, drinks and additional food items are available for purchase.

Ballot Measures I-1033, R-71, Whatcom County Library Levy, & School Board Candidates Forum. 

The LWV of Bellingham/Whatcom County is partnering with American Association of University Women to put together a joint forum on ballot issues that will cover I-1033 and Ref. 71, as well as the Whatcom Library Levy, and the School Board Candidates for positions 4 & 5.

If you live in the Columbia Neighborhood and haven't had a chance to talk with Catherine Chambers, candidate for city council here's your chance.  Flip Breskin will be hosting a tea party on October 4th from 2-4 p.m. If you are interested in attending please rsvp to Riley Sweeney at 360.649.1801 to find out if there is room available!

Human Services Candidate Forum addressing issues of hunger, housing, and poverty with candidates running for local county, city, and Port of Bellingham positions. 

The forum will be held on October 15th at 6 PM at the Bellingham Ferry Terminal, 355 Harris Avenue. 

Show your support with a small boat, or at the BBQ, with cedar-plank cooked salmon, and Boundary Bay beer on site. Come join the fun!
