This list is a round-table discussion list for members of the Whatcom County Democrats to discuss ideas and concerns related to politics and our organization. This last can be high traffic (multiple emails a day). This list is restricted to organization members, except with special permission.

List Etiquette
Please feel free to:
- ask a question.
- give an answer.
- politely express your opinion on a community or political issue.
- announce an event.
- report on an event.
- make a proposal for action.
- comment, with a web site link, on an article of great interest; please include a brief synopsis of the article and why you are pointing to it.
- reply to other messages; please include enough of the previous message to give context, but "snip" any parts of the previous message that are unecessary to repeat.
- sign your message with enough of your name to clearly identify yourself.

Please refrain from sending:
- jokes.
- replies meant for one person and not for the whole list.
- replies that unnecessarily include the text of a previous message, particularly if it is long.
- full text of a copyrighted article; a link with a brief synopsis is sufficient.
- private campaign strategies and information.
- rant about other parties and politicians - please be constructive with your crticisms.
- messages that begin or continue flame wars (personal attacks).
- messages in ALL CAPITALS, unless it is vital you demonstrate yelling.
