Help Promote the Caucuses
The Presidential Caucuses are a major grassroots event
for the Democratic Party,
but only if people participate!
Here's how you can help:
Send an email:
Post a poster:
This bi-partisan poster should be appropriate to post in most poster-friendly places. Poster
Hand out flyers to your friends and co-workers:
Print-friendly one-page flyer
Call the Democrats in your neighborhood:
From now to February 9th, we will be calling Democrats and other voters who may be Democrats, from our office in downtown Bellingham, and from homes aroud the county. Call our office at 647-7661 to schedule a time to come in to make calls, or get materials to work from home.
Distribute flyers in your neighborhood:
Starting January 26th, precinct leaders and their crews of volunteers will be distributing flyers in their neighborhoods so Democrats know where their caucus meets. One two-hour walk in your neighborhood is all it takes. Volunteer by calling your precinct leader directly (see the list), or calling our office at 647-7661.
Help organize caucus site arrangements:
Extra leaders are needed who are not already committed to leading their individual caucus. These volunteers would help make logistical decisions for their site, and be the point person during the caucuses, with the goal of making the caucus experience a good one for participants. Volunteer by calling your Caucus Site Coordinator directly (see the list), or calling our office at 647-7661.
Help set up the caucus site on Feb. 9th:
Starting at noon on Feb. 9th, there will chairs to arrange, signs to post, tables to staff, coffee to brew, questions to answer, at each caucus site. Volunteer by calling your Caucus Site Coordinator directly (see the list), or calling our office at 647-7661.
